As 2024 comes to a close, it’s time to reflect on the milestones that have defined this year for Quside. From attending global conferences to launching our latest Ruby S1 chip, we remain committed to supporting our customers in building the strongest cryptographic platform with our products.

But first, let’s take two minutes to recognize the outstanding progress in AI and LLMs, which has incredibly accelerated. These technologies are revolutionizing the way we work. At Quside, we are excited two-fold. First, as a user of new AI-driven solutions. Second, to see the impact our QRNG and RPU products can have on new models and solutions. As we push forward in this field in preparation for 2025, we couldn’t resist — so we created RandomGPT. A custom GPT combining OpenAI’s latest models with our cloud-based quantum random number generators. We hope you make great use of this during the festive season, selecting who gets to open Santa’s present first or to play blackjack against ChatGPT, your choice! Try it here!!

Back to our main memories for 2024…

Global presence at the most important events

This year, Quside showcased its innovations at the world’s leading tech and cybersecurity events, which allowed us to demonstrate our innovations and connect with strategic partners and customers worldwide.

MWC 2024 in Barcelona, where we unveiled new solutions for the telecommunication sector, specially around infrastructure security and acceleration of 5G networks.

GITEX Global, one of the largest tech gatherings in Dubai, where we met the local ecosystem and discovered

RSAC 2024 in San Francisco, the premier cybersecurity forum where we met vendors and customers as the transition to quantum-safe security intensifies.

XPANSE 2024 in Abu Dhabi, a key platform for exploring future technology trends.

Key Collaborations

In 2024, we strengthened our value proposition through groundbreaking partnerships and strategic integrations with industry leaders, driving the adoption of quantum-safe technologies across critical sectors:

Equinix: Leveraging our quantum entropy solutions for hybrid cloud and edge environments, boosting enterprise security against cyberattacks.

Telefónica and IDEMIA: Together, we advanced quantum-safe connectivity for IoT devices, ensuring protection for next-generation connected technologies.

Thales: We became a Thales Verified Solution delivering SP800-90B-compliant, quantum-derived entropy directly to Thales Luna HSMs, ensuring robust key generation and encryption processes.

Keyfactor: Enhanced Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) security by incorporating Quside’s QRNGs, ensuring high-quality entropy for future-ready cryptographic solutions.

PQShield: Integrated Quside’s QRNGs with PQShield’s Post-Quantum SDK in OpenSSL 3.2+ environments, enabling applications to adopt quantum-safe cryptography with minimal modifications.

Industry Recognition

We achieved the NIST SP800-90B certification, underscoring the reliability and security of our quantum photonic entropy source. This milestone reinforces our commitment to technical excellence and trust in our products.

Quside Showcase Day: A remarkable second edition

In October, we hosted the second edition of the Quside Showcase Day, bringing together over 100 attendees, including partners, investors, and industry leaders. The event provided a platform to explore the impact of quantum technology on cybersecurity, share innovative ideas, and strengthen key strategic relationships.

Launching a New Product Architecture

This 2024, Quside introduced a streamlined product naming architecture to enhance clarity and scalability across our product portfolio. This new approach ensures our offerings are better aligned with market needs, making it easier for customers and partners to identify the solutions best suited to their requirements. The updated framework reflects Quside’s focus on delivering innovation while simplifying access to cutting-edge quantum technologies.

Redefining RNG categorization for a safer future

This year, in collaboration with Deloitte, we published an in-depth study on categorizing quantum random number generators (QRNGs), emphasizing the significance of Level 4 RNGs. The paper examines how different RNG levels influence the security of cryptographic systems and highlights the critical role of advanced RNGs in transitioning to post-quantum cryptography.

This work aims to establish clear industry standards and ensure that cybersecurity systems leverage advanced entropy generators capable of withstanding future threats. Learn more here.

Looking ahead

2024 has been a transformative year, positioning Quside as a leader in the quantum-safe cybersecurity landscape. As we move into 2025, we remain committed to innovation, technical excellence, and the development of solutions that shape the future of quantum technology.

We thank our partners, customers, and the Quside team for making this incredible year  possible.
